The #1 Bus Chronicles Animation
My work as the Lead Animator on The #1 Bus Chronicles, a film by Joel Katz and co-produced by Delmira Valladares. The animation was created frame by frame in Photoshop, and the poster was also created in Photoshop. I used Adobe Premiere to edit the video, and then used Final Cut Pro to overlay the construction paper texture throughout the animation. The moving buildings were modeled and rendered in Cinema 4D.
The #1 Bus Chronicles has been officially selected to be in the 2019 Golden Door International Film Festival, and then streamed online as a selection of the 2020 Black Maria Film Festival.

I used frames from the film and composited them together into this piece using Photoshop.
The run cycle was created in its own file before being composited into the scene. This was done to allow me to focus on the animation without being distracted by the rest of the scene.
Full frame of the panning shot down the bus
The city in the background of the bus driving shot was created by rendering some cubes in Cinema 4D with a sketch and toon shader. The animated bus and cars passing by were then overlaid into the rendered result to create the final shot.
