Hi, I’m Joey!

I’m an animator, character rigger and compositor from New Jersey. I specialize in 2D animation, using Adobe After Effects, Animate, Character Animator and Photoshop; though I’m also proficient in 3D animation and have a background in Cinema 4D, Maya and ZBrush as well.

After graduating with my BA in Electronic Art and Animation with a minor in Digital Filmmaking from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2020, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to work on many exciting projects. I worked as a Lead Animator for Monochrome RPG, created several short educational animated films for Talewise, worked as a character rigger on Secret Chef on Hulu, and have worked as an animator and rigger for Late Night Cartoons, Inc on a number of animated projects, including Fairview (Comedy Central), several holiday specials for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (CBS), and the twice Emmy nominated Stephen Colbert Presents: Tooning Out The News (Paramount+, Comedy Central). Most recently, I’ve worked with Pocket.Watch on several new productions, including Magic Mayhem with Dan Rhodes, and The Stella Show’s Ruler of the House.

Growing up, I was always interested in the arts. I started playing the drums in elementary school, and have always loved music and songwriting. In my junior year of high school, I discovered I had a passion for animation, and I’ve been working to develop that passion into a career since then.
